Located on the northern coast of the Gulf of Roses, south of Cap de Creus, Roses is one of the main tourist destinations on the Costa Brava. The town combines a wide range of hotels and services with long sandy beaches, fishing and recreational ports, and numerous beautiful coves. Its privileged location, between the sea and the landscape of Cap de Creus, makes it an ideal destination for enjoying the Mediterranean.
The heart of Alt Empordà, Figueres is located just 15 km from the Mediterranean Sea, at the foot of the Pyrenees and surrounded by natural areas of great value. The city combines nature, culture and history, and stands out especially for its wide range of museums, with the famous Dalí Theatre-Museum as its main attraction. It is also home to Sant Ferran Castle, one of the largest fortresses in Europe and one of the city’s major historical landmarks.
Llançà is a small Mediterranean town of around 5,000 inhabitants, located in Alt Empordà, in the northeast of Catalonia, approximately 30 km from the French border. Its privileged surroundings combine sea and mountains, with 7 km of coastline dotted with charming beaches and small coves. The municipality is also surrounded by protected natural areas, such as Cap de Creus Natural Park and the Albera Natural Site of National Interest, making Llançà the perfect destination for enjoying nature and Mediterranean landscapes.

*Depending on the teams registered in each category and their competitive level, the organisers will create subcategories, either separating first-year and second-year teams or grouping them by competitive level.
All tournament matches will be played in the best possible conditions, on high-quality indoor courts. All participating teams will also have access to their own changing room before and after each match.
Main venue
The Roses Municipal Sports Hall is the main venue of the Costa Brava Basketball Challenge, hosting the finals and the closing ceremony. It features a covered court meeting FIBA dimensions and stands with a capacity of 1,200 spectators.
Other venues
Modern municipal sports hall in the centre of Figueres, a 5-minute walk from the train station. It hosts the qualifying rounds on a 32×19m indoor court, which can be divided into 2 courts for the younger age categories.
Municipal sports hall located in Llançà. It features a 44 × 22 m parquet court, spectator stands and spacious, functional sports facilities.
All athletes will be accommodated in a three-star hotel.
The organisation assigns the hotel based on the category and availability.
Yes. Bus transport between the hotel and all venues (Roses, Figueres, Llançà and Peralada) is included at match times.
Yes, with a supplement of €30/night. This must be requested during registration.
Yes, provided that the entire group stays for the extra nights.
No. Teams are generally accommodated in one hotel, while family members and accompanying persons stay in another, usually in nearby hotels.
If a family member needs to stay at the same hotel as the team for medical reasons relating to a player, this must be requested in advance from the organisation and is subject to its approval.

The FIBA rules will apply to all matches, with the following exceptions
The schedules and competition format will be published and sent to all teams two weeks before the start of the tournament.
Once the registration period has closed, the organisation will draw up the competition format and schedule for each category based on two factors: the number of participating teams and their competitive level.
In the event of any exceptional situation, the competition committee, made up of 4 members of the organising team, will make the decision it considers appropriate.
The committee’s decisions are irrevocables.
Teams must be present at the competition venue at least 30 minutes before the start of their game.
Match schedules are tight. If a team arrives late, it may affect the running of the entire tournament.
If a team arrives late, except in cases of force majeure, the committee reserves the right to award a forfeit with a score of 0–99.
All teams will have access to a changing room for their games.
Changing rooms are assigned by the sports services or reception staff at each venue. To find out which changing room has been assigned before a game, a team representative (coach) must ask at the information point or reception desk.
If a team behaves inappropriately during a game (excessive protests against referees, unsportsmanlike play, or incidents involving opponents or the organising team), it may be expelled from the tournament.
Team representatives (coaches and team delegates) are responsible for their players’ attitude and behaviour towards referees, opponents, spectators, the organising team and the facilities.

If the organisation has confirmed availability, make an initial payment of €500 per team and send the proof of payment. This amount will be deducted from the final fee
The organisation will provide access to register players and coaches. Pay the remaining balance before 09/05/2027.
The first payment of €500 per team is the booking deposit to secure your place.
Once the first payment has been received, the organisation will confirm the reservation by email.
This amount will be deducted from the final amount payable for participation in the tournament.
