Second Round of the Blanes Basketball Cup
Blanes, the gateway to the Costa Brava, is located 40 km south of Girona and 65 km north of Barcelona, in a privileged setting between the sea and the mountains.
Traditionally linked to fishing, the town still has one of the most important fishing ports in Catalonia. With the arrival of tourism in the 1960s, Blanes experienced significant growth and has established itself as one of the main commercial and service centres in the La Selva region, combining tourism with the everyday life of its residents.
Its beaches and coves are among the town’s main attractions, making Blanes an ideal destination for enjoying the Mediterranean.

The tournament’s main venues.
The Blanes Sports City offers high-level facilities for playing basketball, with courts that meet official FIBA dimensions and are equipped with high-capacity stands.
The town of Tordera and its municipal sports hall are among the tournament venues, offering two additional cross-courts adapted to official FIBA dimensions, with the option of using the central court if necessary.

All teams will be accommodated in three-star hotels located in Blanes and Malgrat de Mar. All hotels are situated close to the beach.

All meals are served at the hotel. Breakfast consists of a varied buffet with hot and cold dishes. Lunch and dinner offer a variety of dishes suitable for athletes. All meals include mineral water (and house wine for adults).

This is a provisional schedule. It may be subject to slight changes depending on the organisation’s needs to schedule the matches and ensure the smooth running of the tournament.

The schedules and competition format will be published and sent to all teams two weeks before the start of the tournament.
Once the registration period has closed, the organisers will draw up the competition format and schedule for each category based on two factors: the number of participating teams and their competitive level.
In the event of any exceptional situation, the competition committee, made up of 4 members of the organising team, will make the decision it considers appropriate.
The committee’s decisions are final and irrevocable.
Teams must be present at the competition venue at least 30 minutes before the start of their game.
Match schedules are tight. If a team arrives late, it may affect the running of the entire tournament.
If a team arrives late, except in cases of force majeure, the committee reserves the right to award a forfeit with a score of 0–99.
All teams will have access to a changing room for their games.
Changing rooms are assigned by the sports services or reception staff at each venue. To find out which changing room has been assigned before a game, a team representative (coach) must ask at the information point or reception desk.
The trophy presentation takes place as soon as the competition ends.
If a team behaves inappropriately during a game (excessive protests against referees, unsportsmanlike play, or incidents involving opponents or the organising team), it may be expelled from the tournament.
Team representatives (coaches and team delegates) are responsible for their players’ attitude and behaviour towards referees, opponents, spectators, the organising team and the facilities.

The organisation will reply within approximately 2 business days to confirm availability in the requested categories.
If the organisation has confirmed availability, make an initial payment of €500 per team and send the proof of payment. This amount will be deducted from the final fee.
The organisation will provide access to register players and coaches. Pay the remaining balance before 15/02/2027.
The first payment of €500 per team is the booking deposit to secure your place.
Once the first payment has been received, the organisation will confirm the reservation by email.
This amount will be deducted from the final amount payable for participation in the tournament.
The deadline for paying the outstanding balance is 15/02/2027.
